FLUSHING, FLUSHING....The District will be flushing the main line on South Butte in the month of September. Flushing is performed to remove possible silts from the mains. We strongly recommend that you schedule all laundry before 8:00 A.M. and after 5:00 P.M. during the month of September if you live on South Butte Road. There also may be some fluctuations in pressure during the flushing. |

| We now have a generator. Since the evacuation in January of 1997, we have realized that if the power is shut off for any reason, we would not have enough water to last more than a couple of days, even with rationing. Then with the power outages and the uncertainty of future power, we were even more concerned. In talking with customers in the district, we came to realize that 90% of you thought we already had alternative power. Now if the power goes off, we can proceed with some confidence. | |||||||
